A resilient mother, accompanied by her seven children, has been residing in America for two years now. Unfortunately, her husband has succumbed to drug addiction and subsequently abandoned the family. His sporadic behavior only brings trouble to the family as he resorts to stealing any available funds within the household.
Determined to provide for her children, the mother embarks on a daily two-hour journey ( by foot) to her workplace, enduring the same duration on her return. The ages of her children range from one to seventeen years old, each relying on her unwavering dedication.
Currently residing in the state of Texas, they arrived in America aboard one of the planes that departed from Afghanistan. However, their legal documentation has lapsed, and the assistance provided by caseworkers has been limited in effectiveness.
In order to overcome their current predicament, a total of $2400 is required to meet their immediate needs. The funds will enable this courageous family to secure food, ensuring their sustenance during these challenging times.
