Help a Family of Seven from Gaza Secure Housing for a Year
A family from Gaza, Palestine, urgently requires assistance to raise $3,816 for a year's worth of rent and utilities. This family consists of seven members: a widowed father, his four children, and two grandchildren. Abu Muhammad relocated to Oman at the beginning of 2020 but lost his job due to the COVID-19 pandemic. He found employment at the local fruit market and, at the onset of the conflict in Gaza, managed to bring his four children and infant granddaughter to Oman. His eldest daughter, who was pregnant at that time, gave birth shortly after their arrival. Tragically, they have lost contact with her husband, who is presumed deceased.
Currently, Abu Muhammad is struggling as his job at the fruit market ended when it relocated to another city. He is now working as a day laborer, but such work is inconsistent and unreliable. With a monthly rent of $318, he is unable to meet his family's housing expenses. We are requesting the community to support this family, who has lost everything in Palestine and now stateless, by providing them with the security of stable home.
