I'm Paula. Many of you may know me as the short Argentinean/Spanish/German living in the UK. Currently, I find myself in Amman, Jordan, where a significant amount of humanitarian aid is being dispatched to Gaza and the West Bank to alleviate the suffering of millions of Palestinians. I am initiating this crowdfunding campaign in collaboration with Hidden Humanity, a non-profit organization that has been successfully delivering aid to Gaza, benefiting thousands of individuals. This charity has dedicated a significant portion of their lives to assisting with various crises in the Middle East.
The primary goal of this crowdfunding effort is to provide food and sanitary products to Gaza; more specifically, 200 x Food parcels and 200 x Parcels of Sanitary products. Sanitary products are urgently needed because the lack of them spreads diseases quickly, and people are unable to prevent them (especially women and children).
Our team will oversee their distribution.
Here's how the funds will be allocated:
Food Parcels are $40 each with the cost of delivering to Gaza. Each one contains:
- One kilo of rice
- One kilo of pasta
- 2 packs of cheese
- 2 cans of beans
- 2 cans of chickpeas
- 2 cans of kidney beans
- 2 cans of peas
- 200 grams of salt
- One kilo of dates
- 1 liter of oil
- Halawa (sweets)
Hygiene parcels are $40 each and contain:
- Shampoo
- Soap
- Toothpaste
- Toothbrush
- Sterilizer
- Feminine pads
- Washing powder
- Clear liquid
- Deodorant
- Razor blades
Gaza has been enduring over 200 days of immense suffering.
