We are appealing to the community to unite and collaborate in order to prevent the closure of this educational institution, which is currently facing the imminent risk of shutting down.
Located in Paktia, Afghanistan, this school accommodates a total of 320 female students between the ages of 6 and 14.
Unfortunately, due to the lack of rental funds, the school is facing the grim prospect of closure. The property owner, unwilling to wait any longer for the rent, has made the decision to shut down the school.
The current monthly rent for the premises amounts to $100. In order to ensure the continuity of the school until a new location is secured and a new facility is constructed, we aim to raise the necessary funds to cover two years' worth of rent, totaling $2400.
Moreover, we would like to address the issue of the teachers' salaries. Currently, they are being compensated by the government; however, these payments are often inadequate and frequently delayed. To provide them with a more substantial income and to motivate them in their noble task of educating these young students, we are seeking to pay each teacher a monthly salary of $20. The total amount required to fulfill this objective is $2880.
