A family that lives in complete darkness.
Electricity is a luxury that most take for granted.
I visited a family in a outside the city of Kandahar, Afghanistan. This family of 5 lives in almost complete darkness. They use a flashlight and a small led light.
The children use flashlights when using the restroom or sometimes just in darkness. The summer is even tougher as they have no fans to turn on.
We would like to buy the following items for them:
250 Watt Solar Panel 100 Meter of Wire
Lights
Large capacity battery
A switch to regulate the charge of battery.

Where this campaign stands today
Raised, deployed, and items delivered are sourced from the same ledger_entries table our finance team reconciles against. The numbers below match the admin transparency view exactly.
Updated live from the public ledger.
A monthly commitment is the most efficient gift you can give us.
Recurring donors stay with us 5× longer than one-time givers, which means we can plan distributions, lock vendor pricing, and stand by communities through the quiet seasons — not just the headline crises.
