Fountain of Hope Water Station

Project Summary This proposal outlines the establishment of a Water Distribution Center in Hazza, Sham. It will serve three areas (Hazza, Zamalta and Ayn Tarma) and is designed to provide free, clean water daily to 3,000 widows and orphans—some of the most vulnerable members of society. In addition to humanitarian support, the center will generate revenue by selling water at a low cost to the public, which will be used to sustain operations. Any surplus income will be invested in providing hot meals to the neediest individuals in the community via our recently established kitchen in Zahira, Maidan.

Objectives 1. Supply free daily clean water to 3,000 widows and orphans. 2. Develop a sustainable revenue model through affordable public water sales. 3. Use any profit beyond operating costs to fund a hot meals program for the most vulnerable. 4. Foster long-term impact through local job creation and improved public health.

Project Components 1. Water Distribution Infrastructure • Water purification and filtration unit • Storage tanks and distribution points • Solar Panels2. Free Water Program • Beneficiaries (widows and orphans) identified through partnerships with local NGOs and community leaders • Daily water rations distributed at collection points or via delivery to those unable to collect 3. Water Sales for Sustainability • Water sold to the general public at a fair price to generate revenue • Funds used to cover staff salaries, maintenance, fuel, and other operating costs 4. Hot Meal Program • Any profit beyond operational costs used to cook and serve hot meals • Meals distributed to the neediest, including displaced families, the elderly, and persons with disabilities

Financial Plan • Total Project Cost: $45,000 • Water purification and storage setup • Distribution equipment and initial water supply • Staffing and operations reserve • Ongoing Sustainability • Meal program funded through surplus from water sales

Expected Impact • 200 Liters per minute. • 3,000 widows and orphans receive safe water daily. • Hundreds of community members benefit from affordable clean water. • Dozens of hot meals served daily to those in extreme need. • Jobs created locally to run the station, drive deliveries, and cook meals. • Significant reduction in disease risk and daily hardship for vulnerable populations.

Monitoring & Accountability • Monthly beneficiary tracking and water distribution records • Financial transparency reports every quarter • Local oversight committee for quality control and community feedback

Conclusion With a modest investment of $45,000, the Fountain of Hope Water Initiative can deliver lifesaving aid and dignity to thousands of people every single day. By combining humanitarian care with a self-sustaining model, this center will create lasting relief and opportunity in a time of deep need.
