Help bring education back to North Gaza
Imagine being seven years old and never having had a normal school day. No classroom, no desk, no teacher at the front of the room.
For thousands of children in Gaza, this is reality. Years of war have destroyed or damaged most of Gaza's schools, but children still want to learn.
Together with SWAN, we're building the North Gaza Tent School in Jabalia: a safe place for children to learn, heal, play, and hope for a future.
The project
Four tent classrooms for children in Grades 1–4 Teachers, learning materials, and psychosocial support Open six days a week with a double-shift system 360 children every four-month cycle, 1,080 children over the year
For children who have lived through years of trauma, school means more than maths and reading. It means routine, friendship, safety, and somewhere to go each morning.

Update: The school is taking shape
Alhamdulillah, the land has been secured and the first tent classrooms are going up. Now we need to finish what we started: teachers' fees, desks and seating, books, stationery, and classroom supplies.
We can't rebuild Gaza overnight, but we can make sure these children don't lose their future too.
